About Me

I’m Amy.

I’m raising two boys who are nine years apart in age.  I can hardly remember a time that I wasn’t a mother. I’m married to a man I first fell in love with when I was 21 but we didn’t get married for 17 years. I design websites and blogs and I work from home. I once owned a knitting shop and I love to make quilts. I have three tattoos and I’m fond of black licorice. I have an aversion to wearing shoes and I have very little patience for rudeness.

My life in the suburbs is pretty ordinary and that’s how I like it. I write about it here as an exercise in finding joy amidst the delightful chaos of motherhood.

My photographs and my words are my creations and I’m flattered if you like them but please don’t use them without asking.
