“A commonplace life, we say and we sigh;
But why should we sigh as we say?
The commonplace sun in the commonplace sky
Makes up the commonplace day.
The moon and the stars are commonplace things,
The flower that blooms and the bird that sings;
But sad were the world, and dark were our lot,
If flowers failed to bloom and the sun shone not.
And (she) who seeth each separate soul,
Out of commonplace things makes (her) beautiful whole.”

A beautiful whole indeed.
Lovely, lovely.
Beautiful poem and pics
amazing pics~
Aren’t little boys so adorable. Your Superman picture reminded me so much of when my son was that age! It goes by so fast – later on is fun too, but those early years are just so sweet!
Lovely photos by the way! You’re an inspiration!
oh Amy, great photos!~ Love the new look of your site!
Those moments you captured are just too sweet! I love that one of Quinn giving the kiss!
Just wonderful…all of it! I love your new header, Amy!
Love how little ones dress up. Your little guy in the superman cape reminds me of my son when he was little. He took on different roles for the first 5 years of his life. I love the innocence and passion of childhood. Lovely photos as usual Amy!
If there was any downside to your amazing Celebration of Mothers, it was missing out on these commonplace moments. Thanks for catching up!
What a stunning set of pics. You can really see the beauty in everyday life. Thanks for sharing.
Love all these pics. The last one especially seems so, well, true.
Wait a minute! Didn’t you say once you teach your boys to ask first before they kiss???
I’m not convinced that SHE’s convinced about that kiss! Makes me smile though.
Hope you are well my dear!
