Love your list! Happy birthday (a day late)!
Oh, Happy Belated Birthday Amy!!! Hope it was lovely…and hope I get to see you tomorrow.
Happy birthday!
Wonderful list! I just loved it. Many belated birthday wishes to you!
Happy B’day. Your list and mine are similar….I would want you to be a friend of mine if I lived anywhere near you.
Happy Birthday, you! : )
Hilarious! And what a great bunch of responses. BTW, I don’t have a middle name either.
I do not have a middle name either as my maiden name was Laughinghouse and mom thought that was long enough. I love your blog and think you are talented and brilliant. Happy Birthday It only gets better.
I knew I loved you for a reason, it’s because at least half of your list would be identical to mine. And I’m only 20.
I missed your birthday! I hope you had a great day – Happy Birthday to you! I love your list – brilliant.
The most interesting and accomplished people are brimming with contradictions and not afraid to say so. Hurrah to the perfectly imperfect. Happy belated birthday too
Are you me?
I love you. I am so proud of you.
Happy very late birthday! I love those 41 things about you!
Some very fun contradictions. That’s beeing human.
WOW! We are practically the same person! My grandmother called me a “transvestite” (for frequent boy-jeans & t-shirt wearing), which I thought was hilarious, but my parents did not. If I lived near you, I’d come visit so we could swear and drink coffee and eat salad (I’d make it). Yay ocean! Boo perfume! I’m way taller than you: 5’4″! I’m more skeptical than cynical. Some weeks I am very creative and productive, others I can’t even shower due to chasing and driving kids around. My father is proud of me, too. This year I will be 41 and my paper shades will be 8.
Oh, happy belated birthday! I love your list.
Happy birthday! Though I am reading this much too late, sorry about that. I loved your list. I like lists in general, but this was a particularly good one. Thanks for sharing.
I am alone for my birthday after just seperating from my husband of 21 years. My kids are away doing there own thing ( rightly so) and to be honest I’ve had a glass or two of wine so am feelnf a bit lonly and sorry for myself. I however read your resume of who you are and what you’re like and I laughed. I can so understand your contradictions. I was like I was reading my pros and cons list (cept the non drinking. I do partake in a glass or two at birthdays etc. ). Thankyou got making me smile tonight. I needed it.
Happy Birthday… a month late. I am trying to catch up on some blog reading, because that is one thing that has slid for me this year, so far. I really like how you write about yourself. There were a couple of posts, here in the last month, that I could have written myself on the very same day that you wrote them. They were maybe not so happy, but they were true and OK. I really like feeling that connection. Many blessings to you in your 42nd year.
Happy Birthday Amy!
I think we were separated at birth.
Amazing…..its seems myself!!! I enjoyed very much.
