The pathetic part of this story isn’t that I have nineteen out of twenty blocks finished or that I finished those nineteen blocks in three days but haven’t been able to get the last one done in three weeks or that my brother’s birthday is less than two weeks away—it’s that I have three other projects in the exact same state of unfinished-ness in the basket under my desk.
Somebody kick me in the ass please.

Too funny! It looks great, though.
I totally have the same problem. There was a 3 part series on Unclutterer talking about this. Let me know if you want the link!
The Nike add is right, Just do it! Once that last block is done, you will have your second wind. And if not, well something always has to give in this life. These blocks are FABULOUS! Good luck and happy sewing!
Well sometimes working under pressure’s necessary… I’m constantly kicking myself in the rear because I have so many unfinished projects laying around too. Just try and get that last block done and your brother’s quilt will be finished in no time
Boot!
(But really, don’t we all have that sort of state at some point?)
It really is looking great. You just need to make an appointment to get it done!
i recently wrote a blog about the unfinished life. It seems we are always unfinished. Wish I could help you but I’m to busy finishing up.
Gorgeous! Aren’t you dying to see it all finished? Yes, of course you are… please post pics when it is done… your brother is very lucky!
Consider yourself kicked. That is a stunning quilt. Is it for your brother? What good boy colours.
What a fabulous looking quilt. I don’t even what to admit to how many in progress quilts I am doing!
kick kick! or bring them over next friday and we can all work on it with you!
We are kindred spirits—I have the same problem. Seriously. I hit a wall and can’t get through it so I start another and get to the same point and start another….
Here’s a little kick (and one for me, too)
consider yourself kicked!
That is stunning!!
I’d like to tell you to get to work, but you know what I would do? Start something else.
you have a challenge to finish that last block for sew-n-tell on Friday! You can do it!!!!
Even with one block missing I can tell it’s going to be a beauty! (Great colors, too!)
After you get a good arse kickin’ could you send the kind soul(s) my way, please?
That’s a lovely looking quilt – now go light-up that fire under yur bum and busta’ move!
